Card Meaning: Seven Of Pentacles
General
The person on the card is looking with tired and somewhat sad look on some
greenery with pentacles, clearly representing the fruits of his hard labour. One
could say this is all he's got. But why this impresssion of resentment? It seems
that he thinks he could get more if he moves on some other projects but than he
would risk this what he's already got. One way or the other, he is certainly
pondering about the results of his efforts and he is not too happy about them.
So, he will have to make a choice about being satisfied with his present level
of material gratification or risk it, leave all behind and start all over again... or maybe lose everything.
Reading
Positive:, hard work, money, advancement, growth, success, risk worth taking,
sustained effort, perseverance, change of direction.
Negative: failed opportunities, bad decision, money
problems, exhausted by work, disillusionment.
A young man, leaning on his staff, looks intently at seven pentacles attached
to a clump of greenery on his right; one would say that these were his treasures
and that his heart was there. Divinatory Meanings: These are exceedingly
contradictory; in the main, it is a card of money, business, barter; but one
reading gives altercation, quarrels--and another innocence, ingenuity,
purgation. Reversed: Cause for anxiety regarding money which it may be
proposed to lend.
